Insight
Insight is a program of education and discernment for men 18 years old and older considering a vocation to the priesthood.
Purpose of Insight
- Prayer - Introducing the rich traditions of Catholic prayer in its differnet forms; encouraging us to walk withthe Father in discernment. The evening's theme, prayerfully brought to God the Father, is another way God can reveal His will for one's life. The evening concludes with the Liturgy of the Hours night prayer prayed in common.
- Education - Presenting the priestly and sacramental life of the Church to assist and encourage participants to engage in thoughtful discernment about the nature of priestly life and ministry. Contact with seminarians provides first-hand experience of the discernment and formation process.
- Community - Encouraging participants to pray for and support each other during their discernment. This aspect of Insight offers a rare opportunity to speak openly and on an ongoing basis about personal interest in a priestly vocation.
